*****ATTENTION******
(effective 4.13.2022)
WHSRA members, the recent IT/Computer issues we have dealt with have been resolved to the best of our knowledge and we thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.
THEREFORE, starting NOW (4.13.2022), every Tuesday at 7AM that week’s rodeo(s) will be officially closed!  IF, when the day sheet comes out you are not entered in the event(s) you thought you should be, there will be NO CHANGES allowed without a printed receipt from the online entry program!
NO
EXCEPTIONS.

WE will not be ‘offering’ board meetings to hear your complaint!
Get the printed receipt with all of the correct information to Shelly and she will take care of it!!

--ALSO--
AS promised in Laramie, our new website is ready and functioning and on Tuesday April 19th at 8AM we will be shutting down the old/current (.org) site and re-directing all traffic to the new site:  www.wyhsra.com.  If you want to go explore and take a look, please do so and get familiar with its layout.  A big thank you to Becky Sorensen for building this user friendly site for us AND for maintaining it until we can get trained on how to maintain it.   We will strive to get updates to her and to the new site as fast as we can, BUT the process may be a change and like us, Becky has a full time job, SO it may not be instant!
IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH THE OLD SITE UNTIL THEN OR THE NEW SITE, PLEASE, PLEASE LET SHELLY OR DIXIE KNOW SO WE CAN FIX IT OR RESOLVE IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

Chute Dogging Event Rules Update (Jan2022): (page 102, III Event Rules, #3- edited to include:
With steer loaded in chute, dogger gets beside steer with hand and
arm in front of shoulder of steer, or behind shoulder if dogger desires, and can wrap under neck.
When dogger calls for steer the chute gate will be opened. Dogger must maintain his arm and hand
position without impeding forward progress of steer. Should dogger grab horn, ear, or impede
forward progress by choking steer, a 10 second penalty will be accessed. Steer must cross score line
before being thrown or starting to slow the steer's forward progress to start throwing process. If
steer is thrown before crossing score line, it will result in a disqualification since time has not started. Dogger cannot do anything to start throwing process until time has started in the field.
